Kiro7은 11일 아침 프로그램 ‘Gets Real’을 통해 광역시애틀한인회의 활동을 2분 43초 분량으로 집중 조명하면서 김원준 회장과 샘 심 부회장을 인터뷰했다.

Seattle’s leading broadcast station KIRO7 aired a special segment spotlighting the Greater Seattle Korean Association (President Wonjun Kim, Chairperson Eunsook Na).

On the morning of September 11, KIRO7’s “Gets Real” program dedicated 2 minutes and 43 seconds to the association’s community work, featuring interviews with President Wonjun Kim and Vice President Sam Shim.

Anchors Monique Ming Laven and Elle Thomas introduced the story, which underscored the association’s wide-ranging impact on the local community.

The report highlighted several of the organization’s major initiatives:

• Voter education programs encouraging civic engagement within the Korean American community,

• The Green Earth Cup soccer tournament, which brought together Korean Americans and other minority groups,

• Participation in Seattle’s signature Torchlight Parade during Seafair,
