하와이안항공 9월12일부터 시애틀~인천노선 취항 기념 

인천발 시애틀행은 17일까지 특가 프로모션 판매나서

시애틀발 인천행은 현재까지 프로모션 없어 800~1,000달러

시애틀에 본사를 두고 있는 알래스카항공이 자회사인 하와이안항공을 통해 인천~시애틀 직항 노선 취항을 기념해 한국시간으로 오는 17일까지 왕복 항공권을 40만원대에 구입할 수 있는 특가 프로모션을 진행한다고 11일 밝혔다.

이번 프로모션은 하와이안항공 공식 홈페이지와 주요 여행사를 통해 예약할 수 있으며, 인천-시애틀 노선을 포함해 포틀랜드, 샌프란시스코, 샌디에이고, 로스앤젤레스, 라스베이거스 등 북미 주요 6개 도시 이코노미석 왕복 항공권에도 적용된다고 설명했다.

이번 특가 항공권은 오는 13일부터 12월 15일 사이 출발하는 일정에 한해 구매할 수 있으며 유류할증료와 세금이 포함된 40만원대 가격으로 제공된다.

유수진 하와이안항공 한국 지사장은 "신규 취항을 기념해 한국 여행객들이 선호하는 북미 주요 도시들을 부담 없이 방문할 수 있도록 이번 프로모션을 마련했다"며 "시애틀을 비롯해 포틀랜드, 샌프란시스코, 샌디에이고, 로스앤젤레스, 라스베이거스 등 다양한 매력을 가진 서부 도시들을 함께 경험해 보시기 바란다"고 말했다.

하지만 시애틀에서 출발해 인천으로 가는 여행편에는 특가요금이 적용되지 않는 것으로 파악됐다.

알래스카항공 등의 웹사이트를 통해 확인한 결과, 9월이나 10월중 한국으로 가는 하와이안항공의 왕복항공권은 800~1,000달러대인 것으로 파악됐다. 한국돈으로 계산하면 100만원에서 140만원대이다. 

하와이안항공은 시애틀~인천노선에 787-9 드림라이너를 투입하며 승객들은 시애틀을 거쳐 알래스카항공의 연결편으로 북미 104개 도시로 이동할 수 있다고 홍보하고 있다. 

Alaska Airlines Offers ₩400,000 Promotional Fares from Incheon to Seattle — But Not the Other Way Around

Hawaiian Airlines launches Seattle–Incheon route with limited-time offer through Sept. 17

Alaska Airlines, headquartered in Seattle, has announced a special promotion to celebrate the launch of a new direct route between Incheon and Seattle operated by its affiliate, Hawaiian Airlines. The promotional round-trip fare starts in the ₩400,000 range (approx. $300 USD) for travelers departing from Incheon to Seattle, the airline said on Sept. 11.

This special fare is available for purchase until Sept. 17 (KST) through Hawaiian Airlines’ official website and major travel agencies. It applies to economy-class round trips not only on the new Incheon–Seattle route but also to five other major North American cities: Portland, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.

The discounted tickets are valid for travel departing between Sept. 13 and Dec. 15, and the price includes fuel surcharges and taxes, offering a cost-effective opportunity for Korean travelers to explore popular U.S. West Coast destinations.

“We designed this promotion to make it easier for Korean travelers to visit their favorite North American cities at a more affordable price in celebration of our new route,” said Soo-Jin Yoo, Korean Country Director of Hawaiian Airlines. “We hope many people take this chance to experience the charm of Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.”

However, the promotional fares appear to apply only to departures from Korea. A review of Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines booking sites showed that round-trip tickets from Seattle to Incheon for September or October remain in the $800–$1,000 range — equivalent to approximately ₩1 million to ₩1.4 million.

The new route is operated with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Hawaiian Airlines is marketing the route as a gateway for travelers to connect from Seattle to 104 other North American destinations via Alaska Airlines’ network.
